Why is the original large brush so heavy?

The brush is usually used for very thick curly hair and the weight helps to resist the pull back from the curl making the brush easier to pull through each section.

Why does the original Hotheads heat up faster?

It has an aluminum barrel which allows it to heat up quickly and cool quickly.

YES. The captive ends concentrate ALL of the dry heat and air flow to the centre of the brush which will speed up your drying time by 50 to 60%.

What is the 3D bristle pattern?

  • The 3D bristle pattern is what we refer to as the nail buffer for hair.
  • The nylon is designed to penetrate the hair for detangling and for blow drying.
  • The black boar is for controlling frizz and to create tension for smoothing.
  • The white boar is for adding shine and polish to the cuticle of the hair.
  • We call it the nail buffer for hair. It delivers incredible SHINE.

Why are the nylon bristles flat for the Original Series brushes?

Controlling small frizzy hair on excessive curly heads is the goal. The flattened tips hold the small frizz down for a flat iron finish.

Why are there two nylons on the brush?

The original series brushes have a V shape to the nylon for tension control. The gentler you handle the hair the easier the pull. With a slight turn of the brush the hair will move into the V shape and create more tension.
